Europa Scientific Tracermass upgrade options:

Software / Data Processing : We can provide a software and hardware package that will allow you to run a modern Windows based software package. The main benefit is that the Tracermass system can be run on a faster more modern PC incorporating an up to date operating system. The new software is Windows based and user friendly and the electronics offer higher resolution data collection with no ‘gain’ changes necessary for differing sample sizes.

Electronics : Either or both the Data Collection electronics and Ion Source Control electronics can be replaced with new electronics modules. The modules are of a completely new design and contain the latest ‘state of the art’ components and circuitry. Benefits include a more reliable and ‘powerful’ control electronics.operating system, higher resolution data collection, ion source tuning via the pc, etc

Hardware (Ion Optics) : This upgrade replaces the Tracermass ion optics with the later generation 20-20 ion optics. Benefits include increased reliability, precision, sensitivity and linearity. Creates a system more suited to natural abundance measurements.

Hardware (Vacuum system) : Replacement of the Balzers (Pfeiffer) vacuum system with an Edwards vacuum system. This upgrade incorporates the very latest vacuum equipment from Edwards, and replaces the now unsupported Balzers system. Various levels of this upgrade are available.

Roboprep CN : Many problems relating to poor precision and linearity can be due to the sample preparation system. All Roboprep systems will now be several years old and can benefit from a simple service or a total overhaul. The level of service can be varied to suit your budget. A total overhaul can include replacement of the autosampler, furnaces, etc. bringing the Roboprep back to new specification.
